In fact, on the whole, the number of U.S. tires imported from China and Taiwan Province has decreased significantly in recent years.

This is mainly because Chinese tires have been persecuted by the anti-dumping duties of the United States. In mid-2021, the International Trade Commission (ITC) issued a final ruling to determine the imposition of anti-dumping duties on tires from South Korea, Taiwan and Thailand.

Although less and less tires are exported from China to the United States, the double-anti is also an inevitable challenge in the process of Chinese tire enterprises becoming bigger and stronger. In the process of Chinese tire enterprises achieving globalization, the negative effect of anti-dumping duties is also will get smaller.
